HEY! Hahaha it's been more than one week since the meteor shower day but i shall stop being lazy and blog about it since it's like the first time i ever did something like that! So last tues, meiwei told us there will be meteor shower that day so we planned to watch it. During the break, we went to the com lab to find out like at which places we can see it. Then at some forum, one person wrote like the peak period for meteor shower at east coast was at 11 pm so we were like hey let's go east coast and watch it. Before gong to east coast, meiwei, emily, renee and i went to esplanade to watch a piano recital by some famous jap pianist. At first we were still okay and enjoying the music but as it exceeded the time we expected it to end, we found ourselves waiting impatiently for it to end. Hahaha then something embarrassing happened inside the recital studio. Apparently, meiwei found emily's stone face (hahaha was it stone?) and started to laugh. To stop herself from laughing out loud, she covered her mouth but made the farting sound instead. So everyone turned around to look at us. Then emily laughed, then renee laughed and our whole row of chairs started vibrating too, which made me laugh as well. Then after the performance, we rushed to go east coast. We met beatrice at the vj bus stop and her mum kindly took us to east coast. We found a nice spot to lay the mat and sat down and snack on cheese popcorn and pringles. Yum! Hahaha we stared at the sky for any signs of meteor. I don't know whether it was real or just hallucination but meiwei, beatrice and I thought we saw meteor across the sky! Near us, there was a guy fishing and there was a green light thing at the end of the rod. So when he toss the rod, we all thought it was the meteor and started screaming! Hahaha. we sat there till 12 plus, hoping to see meteor but we didn't. But it was a nice experience, sitting at east coast so late hoping to watch meteor shower!(: Later we heard that people saw meteor showere, literally showering!, at 3 am. DANG! Should have stayed up until 3. Wait till I find out who's the person who posted at the forum saying we can see meteor shower at 11 pm at east coast!
Then, i forgot which day is it, we went to a bio museum at NUS! I thought it would be quite boring and was sad that we couldn't go to body world. But it turned out to be quite interesting! We got to see the ( how do you call it) animal specimens? All the different species of animals. The student guide was quite interesting too hahaha she seemed to be really interested in explaining to us their genitals and sex life. The only disappointing thing is we didn't get to eat NUS food!
Hmm, i can't exactly rmb what happened last week. Oh yah, on mon, i went to watch my girlfriend is an agent. I forgot to bring my specs! So i had to squint at the subtitles. The show was quite funny, i found myself laughing unstoppably at some parts.
I went for the OCIP meeting today. Haha i'm actually quite excited for it!:D It's like finally confirmed that we will going to China, Sichuan, from 6 to 21 dec. Yup, we will be teaching pri and sec students eng, com skills, hygiene and geography. Hope everything will turn out fine! Will be taking a couple of jabs on mon! Oh yeah we are fundraising for our trip by selling greeting cards. One for 10 bucks. Support me if you can!:D
