Last FridayWent back to cedar for CNY celebrations. This year the cedarians had a full day with lessons, so poor thing. So we were sitting at the side foyer waiting the clock to strike one for assembly so that we could watch the performances. I went back mainly to see the performance and the teachers. All of us got ready with four words chinese well wishes so that we can all say them when we see teachers. Haha, it ended with a big HONG BAO NA LAI. After that, sihui and i followed zoey to bugis to meet cheryl heng and have our lunch because it had been long since we both saw her.
Chinese New YearOur reunion dinner this year was quite quiet because our relatives didn't come so we just had a simple dinner by ourselves. For the first day, my cousins and us were mostly stuck in the room playing games like cluedo, cheat and bridge. It was quite funny when we were playing cluedo because they were a bunch of people who talks a lot! Haha, they unknowingly revealed the clues. Whenever there were visitors, we would leave the room to bai nian and then just froze there because we didn't know what to do. Then after a while of silence, we would go back to the room quietly haha. After i brought grace and joan to our house, we played a few more rounds of bridge before heading over to shilbe's house. Haha, this can be considered our tradition because our families do this every year but i can't remember since when.
For the second day, there were no visitors in our house. So in the late afternoon, my family excluding my younger sis went to kallang kfc. Then, we went to kallang leisure park because my mother wanted to see how much it had changed. The shops were closed so we just walked around.
TodayI went to tampines to catch a movie with sihui. At first, we wanted to watch a movie at tampines mall but the queue was SUPER long. We couldn't believe it. So, we went to century square to watch instead. We had an hour free so we just walked around. Oh yah, we watched inkheart. I think the movie was quite interesting. this was the first movie i watched throughout the whole holiday. Incredible right? haha.
